To help you find you way
around Slovenia, we have divided it into five distinct regions:
- northwest Slovenia, an area of sheer alpine peaks plunging to
fertile valleys of meadows, forest and lakes
- western Slovenia,
a very varied region including one of the most beautiful rivers
in Europe, underground caves and the Slovenian Adriatic coast
- southern Slovenia, a region where you may find astonishing
cave systems, a disappearing lake, numerous castles,
monasteries and thermal spas
- northeast Slovenia, an area famous for vineyards,
historic towns, spas and thermal resorts and, last but not
least
- Ljubljana, the country’s charming capital and the
surrounding area.
